Pain/Killing

Methadone is a common painkiller and belongs to the class of opioids.
Painkillers are applied for relief of physical pain. Usually, they work within the nervous system by blocking some receptor or ion channel.
They are usually applied when pain is deemed to be unbearable.
Usual side effects are tiredness and numbness.
